We are SO happy to hear that he is home and doing well! Praise the Lord! It has been a long road for you all and it's so amazing to see him doing so well! The pictures are darling! Thank you for the update! :-) -Carley and Bryan
What an amazing, wonderful, wonderful post! So many prayers answered by a Great God. I bet that car ride home was pretty surreal! Praying for God's blessing as this next chapter begins!
Chuckie and Shannon - Just wanted to say congrats on Charlie coming home! We have been following your blog (through word of mouth from Jeff) and his progress, and cannot even begin to imagine what you all have been going through! So glad there is a happy ending! Now enjoy being parents and taking care of your sweet baby! Good luck! Jen (your old roommate), Alex, Logan, and baby girl Ava on the way!
Yay!! So happy to see this! Cant wait to meet him ( I know it will be a while). Until then, we look forward to more photos of his amazing life at home. ~ xoxoxox The Hoags
All I can do is raise my hands to heaven and praise Him who took care of your precious son and continues to look after Him and you. Praise His name for He is good. Hugs and kisses for the little man! Love to all, Elke (JoAnne's mom)
Can't type...tears in eyes...soooo thrilled. Praise be to God who has sustained you. We love you and can't wait to see the little man again, when we are able. Please don't forget about the ravenous Charlie fan club. Photos will do nicely when words fail. Such as THE HAIR on that boy! What are his current "stats" as far as height and weight?
Also, love the car seat - it looks just like Joshua's car seat and our high chair! ;)
Hooray-he's home!!! Thank you Lord for answering our prayers! Charlie is so going to love being home with you-where you can hold and love on him 24/7. He is such a blessing. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pictures. Shannon you look radiant-a true mommy glow about you. And Carlie looks so healthy and happy sucking away on his bottle. You guys are amazing parents and Charlie is one amazing little boy! We'll continue to pray for you all. Love, The Blocks
What a thrill to see the pictures of Charlie's homecoming! Praise God for answered prayers! We can't wait to see future pictures of Charlie enjoying home life with his loving Mom & Dad. Paul & Gail Battaglia
The Lord has indeed done marvelous things; Charlie is a walking (well, almost) miracle and we are so thankful to have been part of your praying family. May His strength and love and grace continue to sustain you. The von Lehes
We are so excited for you guys. We have been following your adventure weekly and keeping the three of you in our thoughts. This is such an amazing step. Charlie is so precious and such a strong baby. Congratulations on finally getting to welcome him home! Love, Alania and Asher
I'm so excited for you both. The day finally came. I wish I could have been there. Giovanna seemed sad last night since she didn't get to say goodbye. I'll tell her about the blog - maybe that will cheer her up. I'll bet Charlie doesn't know what to do with himself considering there aren't alarms charming away around him and us mean nurses bugging him for 10 to 20 minutes before letting him eat. I'm sure you are all managing just fine. Seeing babies like Charlie go home with their Mommy & Daddy reminds me that I made the right choice in nursing.
Thank you so much for the updates and pictures. How wonderful that Charlie is home!! He is a beautiful baby. We continue to pray for all of you and thank God at the same time for blessing your family with this little one. Love, Craig and Sue Atwood
