A few more pictures and a quick update...

Well, today was pretty stable for Charlie. There is no way to tell if the ibuprofen is working yet, but he doesn't seem to be too bothered by it. Also, the doctors decided that they will speed up the dosing slightly, so that by tomorrow, we'll be able to do another echo cardiogram and see if it worked.

He was a little fussy today, but his numbers were good and he wasn't beeping too much. A little explanation is in order here, but as you'll see in the picture below, Charlie is hooked up to about 6 different machines, all of which beep if his numbers starts looking bad or one of the machines has an issue. So, the less Charlie "beeps" the better for him and the less stressed out we feel when we're there with him. The silence really only tells us that he is stable at the moment, but it also gives us the sense that he is feeling comfortable and relaxed.

So, nothing else major to report, but we'll have the results of another echo cardiogram by tomorrow night.

Charlie is probably under the impression that
he is living in a science fiction film.

Looking all bundled up and relatively comfortable

Charlie has already acquired a fair amount
of clutter in just one week of life.

David and I are thinking of you three. I can't believe all you are going through. Congratulations on having such a precious little baby boy. LOVE the name. Charlie will be in our prayers and we can't wait until he is big and strong and gets out of his plastic box. We love you guys. Keep the photos coming.
